Sombwa is our Country Director at Play it Forward Zambia and provides oversight on the operations of the Zambian office.

He has worked with reputable sports organisations, including OYDC Zambia– Sports Development Centre (formerly, the Olympic Youth Development Centre Zambia), where he was attached as Deputy Director in 2019. He has also worked as a Sports Development Officer in the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Child Development in Zambia where he coordinated sport development activities. He has worked on a number of projects including revision and drafting of sports policies and strategic plans for sport organisations including the National Olympic Committee of Zambia.

Sombwa holds an Executive Masters in Sport Organisation Management and a degree in Physical Education and Sport.
