Improve Health and Well-Being for Young People in Zambia
The devastating combination of prolonged and severe drought in the southern part of the country has driven increasing hunger.
Malnutrition is just one of many burdens to health, with diseases like HIV/AIDS still prevalent in disadvantaged populations, leading to an average life expectancy of only 62 years.
In 2018, around 48,000 adults and 5,400 children became newly infected with HIV in Zambia which shows limited progress in sexual health education.
Every child has the right to access safe, quality education.

Our Commitment
- We will inspire children to adopt healthier lifestyles by providing football coaching, nutritional support and safe spaces to play.
- We will train and deploy a network of Peer Educators who will disseminate key health messages around HIV/AIDS & sexual health in local communities.
- We will support rural community schools by installing water & sanitation facilities alongside delivering sanitation & hygiene training to pupils and teachers.
- We will help rural community schools to establish school gardens to run daily feeding programmes.
