Play it Forward: A Zambian Story is a unique children’s book written by 43 young people from our programmes in Livingstone, Zambia.
Through their own words and stories, the young authors invite readers to discover their lives, communities and the country they call home – sharing Zambia from their perspective.
The project gave 43 children the opportunity to become published authors and tell their own stories in their own words. In July 2026, they came together in Zambia to proudly launch the finished book and celebrate what they had created.
